Day 1 - Edinburgh, Scotland

We started our journey at 7.30am. By 8am we already on M40 towards north. Luckily the traffic to north was smooth but the traffic towards london was very bad since everyone was rushing to work. Along d journey, we enjoyed looking at d scenic view. Mountains, fields & sheeps everywhere  According to my MIL, d view is rather much d same as new zealand.. So, don't hv to go that far since u can get d same view here  Really love the view, especially when we pass by d trunk road.. wooaaahhh.. very very beautiful!! D view is much2 better when u travelled during summer as compared to winter.. FYI, we went to edinburgh last winter, but most of the fields and mountains were covered with ice.. Hhmmm, wish i could captured more photos of the beautiful scenery  ...
Arrived ediburgh around 2.30pm. Managed to get an offroad parking near edinburgh castle. This time i make sure that baba parked d car properly. FYI, the last time we went to edinburgh baba got fined coz d car tyre was a bit outside d parking line. Aiyoo tension betul. D car we rent was huge but d parking space ciput jer..
We walked towards d royal mile. The street is a tourist area. We walked along the royal mile, looking at architecture of building.. As usual entering all souvenir shops to buy something to bring back home.. Actually I wanted to walk to d Palace of Roodhouse & Scottish Parliament, but i think its too far away for us to walk.. Mind you that i'm carrying arianna, both of my parents n MIL has some leg pain. So its not a good idea for us to walk that far.
Too bad that we couldnt take picture of d whole castle as they were having some concert overthere, and d castle was closed to d public.. So, we just took picture from far with a big billboard covering d castle.. Haha, tak nampak castle pun..
Since everyone is tired, we head straight to travelodge to check-in. Wow d room is nice.. Its different from other standard looking travelodge. Maybe bcoz his travelodge is in the middle of d town. We had our dinner and then zzzzzzz.....

My mother in law was here from 19th - 28th july to visit the newborn cucu, arianna..
So, for the 2 weeks period, my MIL took care of arianna from when she awakes until she sleeps again..
Qistinna at first jual mahal (as usual she needs time to warm up), tapi lama2 tue kamceng juga dengan nenek..

Malaysia Week 2008 @ Potters Field Park

Last Wednesday we went to Potters Field Park for Malaysia Week event.. Thank you to Lina & Niza for informing me about this event..
We reached potters field park around 2pm.. From far we could hear the traditional asli music playing.. Oh its so nice to hear msian music playing in the middle of london (rasa macam kat msia jer ).. The location was strategic as it was located near the tower bridge and next to river thames.. And near office building as well so that mat sallehs and tourists can stopby to have a look at the event (was told that originally the event supossed to be held at trafalgar square but somehow msian gov was a bit late in booking the place)..
There were stalls selling msian food, batiks, crafts, etc.. We had kueh tiau goreng (my fav ) while enjoying the stage performance.. zapin, joget, fashion show... However there was not much crowd at the day we went.. maybe bcoz it was a weekday i guess.. Seen photos from my fp friends that weekends is more crowded with people + more fun..
Oh, i met nurul akma on that day.. Susah betul nak jumpa minah busy nie  She's there to oversee Bonda Cafe stall as she is the manager there..

Arianna's First Outing

Its Arianna's first outing after confinement. (nak test macammana her behaviour kat luar la nie)..
Since sale has started, me, opah, qistinna & arianna went out to notting hill & oxford street to do some shopping .
It took me quite some time to prepare both of my kids + prepare stuffs to bring for them before we could go out. I had to make sure that all arianna's stuffs are in the diaper bag (i.e spare clothes, expressed milk, muslin squares, bibs, diapers, minyak telon, diaper rash cream, baby powder, etc..) And for qistinna, her snacks & drinks + some toys/books.. Hehe.. Memang kelam kabut dibuatnya coz takut tertinggal barang..
Anyways, Arianna was such a good girl.. She was behaving quite well when we were out.. She sleeps most of the time.. The only time that she cried was when she was hungry for milk.. Bila dapat susu senyap la dia.. I had prepare one bottle of expressed milk just in case untuk time2 emergency (takut xjumpa baby facility).. It was my first exprience bringing Arianna out, so belum biasa lagi nak breastfeed kat luar..
Bila susu botol dah habis, the second time she cried, I had to find mothercare to breastfed her.. Nasib baikla jumpa mothercare, senang sikit untuk breastfeed or tukar pampers..
In conclusion, Arianna has passed the test.. Hehe.. No hal nak bawa dia berjalan.. Bolehla berjalan selalu lepas nie..

Sorry peeps for not updating my FP often.. Penyakit 'M' melanda..
There's too many photos to upload and too little time.. Will try to upload more photos of my 2 little angels soon..
Oh btw, i've completed my 'penjara' time 2 weeks back..  Officially on 7th july was my last day of confinement and on the 8th tue dah free... wohooo... No more all those 'yucky' taste of jamu, air akar kayu, etc.. Actually I still have to eat jamu after pantang but enough is enough.. Haha, no way i'm going to eat those jamu after pantang.. I hate eating pills (makan panadol pun malas ), nie lagila jamu.. Haha.. But luckily the food during pantang was ok.. I still can eat variety of msian lauk i.e. kari, sup, masak lemak, kicap, etc.. Except benda2 yg sejuk or gatal jer..So, still okla kan..
The first thing I did was to drink nescafe.. Haha.. Dah naik muak minum milo jer for 40days..  And next was to drink coke.. Lega dapat minum cold drinks.. Then later in the afternoon, I went out to do some groceries at morrisons.. Terperap dalam rumah for 40days, mati kutu ok.. Haha... But actually its not that bad.. Thank you to the internet, at least I can surf 24/7.. And thank you to my parents too.. Ada juga peneman untuk berborak, xdela sunyi
And for the first time after so months not carrying qistinna, I tried to carry her.. Mak tuan, giler berat kakak nie..  Dukung tak sampai seminit, kena turunkan dia sbb tak larat.. No wonderla baba sekarang nie tak larat carry stroller with qistinna in it bila naik turun tangga.. Now I know why lar.. Kalau dulu rileks jer baba carry stroller + qistinna naik turun tangga kat tube station tue..

. paling haru, they have blocked Facebook pulak.. boring betui la dgn office ni.. anyway, congrats on your family member.. Tapi Qistina is so bam-bam la.. suke I tgk matanya yg bulat tuh.. mcm mata I aje pulak.. i bet alot of people said the same thing to her kan..
