Baby Arianna @ 2 weeks old..

Au & cousins arrived on friday 11.30am. We had arranged Othman (our cab driver ) to picked them up at the airport & send the cousins to their hotel and then au to our house. It took quite awhile for au to reached our house.. Rupanya the cab driver heret au pergi sembahyang jumaat daa.. Au tried to melarikan diri cakap musafir tapi tak berjaya.. haha.. Siap berlari2 anak diaorg ke masjid sebab dah lambat..

In the afternoon baba jadi tour guide.. Baba brought them to embankment area i.e london eye, big ben, trafalgar square, chinatown.. 8pm++ baru balik.. Au & cousins were on business + holiday trip.. They attend to drupa printing exhibition at dusseldorf, germany which abang was originally suppossed to go there as well.. but tersalah date..

Actually abang was suppossed to attend that printing exhibition then baru datang london.. Thats why yong & family last minute decide to visit us.. Nak dijadikan cerita, abang's supplier gave the wrong date and tickets for the whole family has been bought..

That night abang & au talked about printing and drupa exhibition.. Abang has a printing company while au is anak to tuan besar karangkraf.. Memang line2 printing ler 2 orang tue.. Baba & mama tak dapek nak join borak sbb tak paham..

Au and yong & family sempat bertembung 1 night only as yong balik on saturday.. On sunday morning au make a move to continue his journey.. Sambung holiday to paris pula.. Before balik pagi tue sempat lagi layan borak mengarut au.. Oh and thank you au for the gift..



Later in the afternoon allya & family pula came to visit us .. Allya was on a 3-day course at bayswater.. During the course break, allya took the opportunity to pay us a visit since its only 15mins away from the course venue.. Thank you for the gift auntie allya

The time has come for us to say goodbye to yong & family.. Baba, qistinna & atuk follow them to the airport.. Meanwhile mama, arianna & me stayed at home.. Couldn't follow them coz i'm in confinement..

It has been 2 wonderful weeks.. For d past 2 weeks rumah sgt2la riuh-rendah and mcm2 cerita ada.. Sedih, sedih.. Pity qistinna, coz she really did have fun playing with her cousins.. Just wondering how she will react when there's no more cousin to play with..

Sebelum balik, sempat lagi bergambar beramai2.. Cab driver la yg menjadi mangsa untuk jadi photographer..

Thank you very much to yong & family for all the help, especially bab2 menjaga baby n qistinna.. We're gonna miss all of u..

The remaining two days, the cousins stayed at home.. They're going back to msia tomorrow, so kasi can qistinna main puas2 with her cousins.. Only yong & abang went out to do some last minute shopping..

As usual they played at garden.. Qistinna running around with abang hashry and bullying hafiy (fyi, qistinna nie suka geng dgn yg older than her, kalau younger habis dibulinya.. padahal qis & hafiy nie sebaya, cuma hafiy muda by bulan jer) Yang geramnya, bila buli hafiy, qis buat muka seposen jer & kdg2 tue siap senyum lagi.. i guess its not her intention to bully hafiy but its her style of playing with hafiy.. haha.. ye ke qistinna??
She likes to rampas toys from hafiy, blocking hafiy from passing through, tolak hafiy.. Sampai mama hafiy nak suap makan pun, qistinna sibuk block hafiy tak kasi makan Kesian tengok hafiy kena buli.. Takpe, nnti qistinna balik msia, hafiy lak buli qistinna ok..

In the evening, abang & atuk brought all the kids to playground.. Along was the one who melayan qistinna at playground.. Along la yang angkat dia naik turun slide n swing.. Qis is closed to along coz along likes to melayan her kerenah..

Friday 6th june
They went to the playground again while mama tengah berurut.. The cousins membodek papanya to bring them to playground.. I guess they like to play there.. coz unlike msia, main kat sini tak berpeluh sangat.. Since the weather is nice & sunny, abang pun orait jer.. Puasla qistinna dapat bermain with her cousins

Arianna is 1 week old today.. Can see that she has grown bigger.. Mana taknya asyik nak menyusu jer.. All she knows is tido, menyusu, tido, menyusu, tido, menyusu.. Whenever she awakes, mulalah mulutnya terherot kiri kanan cari susu.. Lepas menyusu pun still mulut herot kiri kanan cari susu.. Ended up I had to ask Baba to buy pacifier for her sebab asyik nak nyot-nyot jer (actually, I try to avoid giving pacifier but in her case terpaksa juga kasi sebab asyik nak nyot-nyot jer, tak laratla mama )..

Nway, yesterday I had my first urut lepas bersalin.. Had to do it for 3 days untuk urut & naikkan peranakan.. Its just a coincidence that that makcik just arrived from malaysia to visit her daughter and knows how to urut orang lepas bersalin.. Her daughter contacted me & asked whether I want to urut or not.. Of course la nak.. At least lega sket badan bila dah kena urut.. Anyone in london who's looking for someone to urut lepas bersalin can ask me for the number..

Qistinna?? As usual attached to her baba.. Baba had to layan her kerenah siang malam sampai stress juga dibuatnya.. Nasib baik ramai orang kat rumah, skali skala bolehla atok, opah, cousin2, mak long & pak long melayannya..

Well I can't imagine if my parent weren't here to take care of me & baby.. Tak menang tangan dibuatnya kalau me & Joe nak jaga baby & qistinna.. Since, i'm in confinement so movement is restricted.. Housework was done by Mama & Yong.. And groceries was taken care by Joe, Abah & Abang.. Having mama, abah, yong & family around really help us alot.. Thank you so much for being here..



This photo was taken while qistinna was playing at back garden alone.. At that time her cousins was away to Paris for a 2-day trip.. They got back yesterday night.. Hehe.. listening to their journey stories makes me laugh.. Macam2 cerita ada.. From riuh rendah nak naik eurostar pagi2 buta to their journey experience and almost missed their flight back to london.. Its nice having them around.. Rasa macam kat malaysia jer..

Having Arianna meant that I had to go through the whole baby routine again.. Waking up at night, feeding her, nappy change, etc.. But Alhamdulillah handling Arianna wasn't that difficult.. But yes, a bit tiring.. She sleeps mostly during d day.. around 11pm nnti barula matanya nak celik besar.. haiyo.. Babanya pulak zzzzzzzzz... Ok la to be fair dia kena handle Qistinna during daytime

As for Qis, she is really clingy to her Baba.. Memerap sesangat dengan babanya.. Being such a baby again.. Pantang nampak mama dukung adik, mesti suruh baba dukung dia.. Since Qis asyik nak kena dukung, baba's quote was "Macam ni ker rasa mengandung? Rasa macam nak patah blakang i sbb kena dukung Qistinna more than usual" If only he knew... hehehe

Luckily when the baby was out, Qistinna's cousins was around.. At least she has cousins to play with when mama & baba busy melayan baby.. Everyday mesti sibuk sebut 'shoe, shoe' (her way untuk ajak keluar la tue ).. Kenala babanya or cousin2 melayan bawa dia keluar ke our back garden.. Let her play outside for 15-30 mins then senyapla dia..

Since the birth of Arianna, we were both quite curious on how Qistinna would react having another baby in the house. I think from these pictures we could clearly see that she has warmed up and is even aware that she is now a "Kakak"..in fact she has even addressed herself as "Kakak"....but I think the feeling of jealousy is still there as Qistinna skrang nie asyik memerap ngan Babanya pulak.





The moment dia nampak babanya pegang baby mula la dia buat bunyi.."heehhhhh heeehhhh"sambil menghulur tangan kat baba suruh dukung....babanya pun angkat la dia bawak hulur hilir rumah.....in total rasanya baba pegang baby baru 2-3 hours total since last Thursday sbb asyik kena dukung qistinna jer







On Saturday, kebetulan Kak Long had a meeting in London, so they pay us a visit. Our house was full that night.. Can you imagine there were 17 people tido dalam rumah (including us) Riuh rendah rumah jadinya

It all began at 8.30pm when mama (my mum) and I went to a nearby laundry shop to dry baju yg baru basuh...Then I felt it...fuh that contraction was harder then the ones I've felt before...jeng jeng jeng... I think its time I told mama..... true enough the next contraction came at about 1 hour later around 9.30pm-10pm......as the contraction became more intense, at about 5am we decided at it would be best if we head off to the hospital. Once we were there, the midwife checked the opening only to find out it was only 2cm and suggested to head home and come in later when the contraction became more intense.




At about 9am we went back to the hospital again as the contraction was even more than intense than the one I had at 5am. We checked in at about 9.30am and told the midwife how far apart the contraction was. By then the contraction was 4-5 minutes apart. The midwife did an examination at around 12 noon and found that the cervical opening is now at 8cm and they hope that it wouldn't be long now before the baby comes out. At about 1pm the midwife suggested that we head inside the pool (I opted for a birth pool, ie delivering the baby inside a pool) to help ease the contraction.




The labour went on for the next 5 hours, as the water didn't break and being inside the pool somehow made to contraction eased up too much so the baby wasn't being push as hard as it should. At about 4.30pm-5pm (after another 5 hours of labour, only god and the rest of mothers out there would know how much pain we have to go through ) the midwife decided it be best if they broke my water. After nearly 2 hours later at 19:19, Arianna Sofarra was finally born after much huffing,puffing, and pushing the baby out...I was also intoxicated,after inhaling nitrous oxygen since the intense labour began..
thinking back there were a few words I said to Baba during labour which made me laugh clearly the gas had an effect on me to help deviate the pain away. Alhamdulilah, the delivery went ok and the baby was healthy as well.











I spent the nite there and was allowed to be discharge the following day after the pediatrician and midwife gave me and the baby clean bill of health. Baba and Qistinna came earlier at about 10am to visit us, while mama, abah, yong and abang came at 12 noon to pick us up from the hospital. Now begins the another chapter of our family, the addition of Arianna Sofarra. Before being discharged, the midwife did ask me if I plan on having another one soon, I told her after what I went through yesterday, it will be at least another 3-4 years before we decide to try again. Hopefully the next one will be a Fernando Redondo (just in case you guys don't know who it is, u can google it and a wikipedia will come out about him) so that Baba will have someone to play football with.

Wohoo... My parents and sister & family are finally here!!!
They arrived on Saturday morning @ 6.10am.. While my brother-in-law came 2 days earlier, Thursday morning @ 6.10am (couldn't get the same flight as others)..

I was so happy to see them.. Its been a year plus since I last saw my sister & family.. While my parents its been almost a year since their last visit..

Since they arrived in the morning + larat nak jalan, so i took them out in the afternoon to Portobello Market.. Sempat jugala jalan2 for about 2 / 3 hours.. Then we stopped by at Primark since my sis wanted to buy shoes for Hashry and Dalyla. That night all of them pengsan awal..
