Its My Birthday!!

Its my birthday!! Well wouldn't be too happy about it coz this year will be my last in 20's.. 
Gosh, that shows how time flies yeah?
We went for dinner at Khan's Restaurant near Bayswater to celebrate mine & Nick's birthday (kebetulan Nick's birthday falls on the same day as mine).. Nazir, Lee San & Daniel join us too.. Its just a simple celebration, more like untuk berjumpa dengan kawan2..
We had biryani, nan, currys and some other dishes (can't remember the name of the dishes tapi tau ada chicken, lamb, prawn, sayur).. The food was delicious..  FYI, Khan's is known as one of europe's largest and most popular Indian restaurants.. So, anyone looking for biryani or indian food should try eating at Khan's..

Dim Sum... Old Trafford...

After playing in the snow, we go in & started to pack our stuff (we were going to spend our 3rd night at Cipoi's place) Then get ready to go out for lunch. Our menu for the day was Dim Sum.. Off we go to Tai Wu Restaurant.

We let Shazlan & Cipoi choose the dishes as we are not expert in it. I think the last time we had dim sum was back in 2004. Most of the dishes we ordered were seafood.. Abih gatal mulut as I'm allergic to seafood  Tapi degil juga nak makan..  Qistinna was enjoying herself playing with chop sticks and jelly.. Bukannya dia makan jelly tue, abih hancur di buat main.. 
Since it was an Easter Sunday, most of the shops were closed.. We head back to Cipoi's place straight away after lunch.. At night, a friend of Cipoi's came over, so he organised a small makan2 for all of us.. He invited Allya & Shazlan too.. Kebetulan his friend is my Uncle's (my aunt's husband, the one we visited in Holland) nephew.. We are not related though as I'm related to my Auntie Nani, not Uncle Mursyidi. But we did have a chat about our extended family, which some of them I know and some of them I'm not sure which one.. We really have a big extended family.. Memang confius.. Kadang2 tau nama tapi tak sure yg mana satu, vice versa.. 
All of us lepak and chit chat until 10.30pm and then it was time for Allya to go home. We said farewell to Allya, Shazlan & baby Aiman.. Its really nice to see Allya again.. Hope we can meet more often..
Next morning, we left Cipoi's place around 9.30am.. We left early as baba wanted to avoid any possible heavy traffic.. As planned, we stopped by at Old Trafford again to snap some photos.. We just took photo from outside the stadium.. We didn't even go in the mega store (baba tak nak masuk) Penyokong setia Liverpool la katakan.. 
Then we head back to london.. We reached london at 2.30pm.. Luckily the traffic was smooth, except a bit slow moving at some part of the highway (which was mainly due to sleet shower & some road works)..
To Allya, Shazlan, Cipoi & Hani.. Thank you very much for your warm hospitality..

Its snowing!! Easter Sunday snow.. wohoo..

Its snowing!!! woohooo... I heard the sounds around 4am but could'nt bother to look out the window coz I thought it was raining.. But when I woke up in the morning, Baba said go and look out the window (after accusing him of trying to kelentong i).. Its really snowing!!  I quickly change Qistinna & myself to warmer clothes.. Tak mandi lagi terus keluar coz takut snow cair.. Nanti tak sempat merasa laks ..
Qistinna was enjoying herself playing in the snow.. The snow has stopped actually, but nevermind as long as there's still snow on the ground thats fine with me.. But it wasnt thick enough to do a snowman.. Dah nak cair pun..

Manchester oh Manchester.. here we come..

Yeay.. finally I've got to meet Allya in Manchester (after a few times of planning to meet up, tapi semua terpaksa cancel).. We take this long holiday as an opportunity to meet Allya as well as our last trip before bersalin (lepas nie kena duduk diam kat umah berpantang.. huhu..)
We started our journey quite late (Baba was exhausted after a week travel to/fro surrey).. We left home on friday at 2.15pm and reached Manchester around 6.30pm.. We stopped by at Old Trafford, kononnya nak bergambar kat depan stadium tapi sayang dah gelap so we plan to stop by again on Monday before going back to London (bear in mind that we are NOT Manchester United suppporter, we are LIVERPOOL supporter, tapi saje je amek peluang alang2 dah sampai Manchester )
Arrived at Allya's place around 7pm. I'm so happy to get to see her again The last time I saw her about a year plus ago. Time tue kena tunggu Allya balik Msia baru dapat berjumpa. She left Msia immediately after SPM sampaila sekarang nie masih di UK. Got to meet her newborn son, Aiman.. He's 5 months old.. Comel sangat, sampai Qistinna pun peluk geram kat Aiman.. We had nasi ayam for dinner that night.. delicious
We didn't have any proper itinerary since our trip this time saje2 untuk lepak ngan kwn2.. Next morning, they decided to bring us to the biggest shopping mall 'The Trafford Centre'. They invited Cipoi & Hani to join us. Kebetulan Shazlan & Cipoi boleh satu sekolah dulu.. All 8 of us had a day out to The Trafford Centre.. We had fish & chips for lunch at food court (besar giler food court dia) After spending about 4 hours rounding the mall, we finally got home (rasa best pula jalan2 dalam mall, since kedai2 kat london banyak kat high street jer )..
For dinner, Shazlan ordered nasi briyani, garlic naan, some currys and sayur.. yummy.. memang sedap sampai bertambah jugala.. Before we sleep, we had some chit chat, try to catch up things mana2 yg tertinggal..

Girls day out!!

I had girls day out last Sunday.. Lama tak keluar all girls
Hah, Alia & Melia came down from Dublin last weekend and stayed at our place.. It was my first time to meet Alia & Melia.. Hah this time tak bawa Nadeen.. Mummy nak girls weekend out so Dhar & Nadeen tak follow skali..
Sunday morning we went to Portobello Market. We already informed them that on Sunday tak banyak stall kat Portobello but they want to try their luck. Sampai2 mmg betul pun, tak banyak stall.. I think only 10% or 20% jer stall yg buka. After spending about 1/2 hr rounding the stalls, we stopped by at Makan restaurant.. Diaorang teringin nak makan food Malaysia.. They had nasi lemak, mee goreng and kueh teau goreng (according to them kat Dublin susah nak jumpa restaurant Malaysia) Me, Joe & Qistinna ordered teh tarik and karipap jer sbb still kenyang from breakfast.
Then they decided to go to Covent Garden Market. Baba tak larat nak ikut sbb kaki lenguh main bola on Saturday. I joined them while Baba & Qistinna went home. I had this kind of weird/guilty feeling thingy sebab tinggalkan Qistinna. It's been a while since I last left Qistinna with Baba alone. Asyik berkepit jer both of us..
At Covent Garden, there was St Patricks Day celebration.. Mmg ramai org Irish la time tue and byk stall jual Irish food.. They did some shopping there. Then we went to House of Fraser in Oxford St. to meet Alia's friends. We met Preston & Munira at Cafe Nero (kebetulan I've already met Preston & Munira a few times and Preston tue geng bola baba, so mmg kenalla). We had coffee at Cafe Nero, and I stayed about 45 minutes there before I went home. To tell you the truth, tak senang duduk dibuatnya duk memikirkan Qistinna kat rumah. Hah senyum jer tengok my gelagat. Asyik tengok handphone jer, kot2 Baba call or tinggal sms. Risau takut dia nangis mencari mamanya jer, coz last week I left her with Baba for a while to do some groceries. When she realised mamanya takde (after mencari kat semua bilik) dia start tarik muka sedih and then menangis sampai tertidur. I guess I have to left her with Baba more often. Surprisingly, bila balik Baba kata Qistinna tak sedar pun mamanya takde and she was happily playing with Baba and her toys.. Good for her.. Bolehla mama tinggalkan sekali sekala lepas nie..
Hah, Alia & Melia came back around 10pm. Hah surprised me with an early birthday present. Thank you so much Hah.. That night I had a long girl talk with Hah.. Buka balik cerita2 lama about our university life and our geng.. Gosh, I miss our geng so much..  Bila dah terbuka cerita2 lama nie, rasa rindu pula kat my girlfriends.. We have a big geng (there's 13 of us) which we are still close till now.
The next morning, its time for them to say goodbye. They had to leave early in the morning since their flight from Birm. Thank you so much to Hah, Alia & Melia for all the gifts for Qistinna & me.. Hope to see you gals again. Maybe next year we'll try to visit you gals in Dublin.

1st Anniversary - London, our 2nd Home

14 March 2008 - It has been exactly 1 year now since our arrival to London. I still remember it as if it was yesterday when we boarded on our flight and said our tearful farewell to our family members at KLIA. Even baba whom I've hardly seen crying shedded tears as he hugged baba senior, the man he looked up to growing up. All our family members were at the airport to say farewell to us and 2 of my good friends Suzy and Nurul came too.
Syukur alhamdulilah, the subsequent 12 months since leaving Malaysia has been the best months of our lives. When we reached London, we tumpang Azrai's house at Lewisham for 2 weeks. Then we found a nice house for us to stay at Shepherds Bush (after byk kali meng-view rumah2 yg hampeh belaka ). We are quite satisfied with our house. Its an old victorian basement flat but yang paling penting its near to tube stations, shops and nearby to notting hill, oxford st, etc.. Nak buat groceries or shopping senang.
Within the past 1 year, we had numerous visitors at our house. Firstly was my parents who came to visit us, a month after we were here. They stayed for 2 months and helped us to settled down. Our friend Rai came a few times from Birm. First with his sister Syada, then by himself and then with Arif. My cousin Kak Long & family also came a few times to our house. Then we had an unexpected visit from our friend Nurul & Riza, they were on business trip to Manchester but they managed to de-tour to London. And kebetulan that weekend our friend Sarahah & family from Dublin were also visiting us.
End of the year paling meriah, first my brother Ngah & family came visit us for a month. They came together with my sister-in-law's brother & family. At that time there were 6 adults and 6 kids (including 3 of us) at our house. Memang rumah penuh betul. A day after they left, my in-laws & family came to visit us for a month as well. Kak Long & family together with Auntie Saadiah & Uncle Taha stayed at our place for a night after my in-laws went home. Pendek kata our house memang tak putus visitorslah juga sepanjang our stay kat sini.
In February, Cipoi, wife and his in-laws tumpang tidur for 4 nights. And last week Kak Long & family visit us over the weekend. People said that kalau ramai orang datang rumah, murah rezeki. Minta2 nanti lepas bersalin, dapatla rezeki lebih sket.. We also had a few visitors yg datang saje2 lepak or melawat. Nazir & Nick comes to our house once in awhile, sometimes they had dinner or lunch here and sometimes saje2 lepak tengok tv. Some other visitors that had come to our house are Farah Yat, Kamarul, Kak Su, Azrai & family, Farah Zila, Ekmal, Kak Shikin & Family and others (sorry kalau tertinggal nama sesiapa). 
Our first family trip was to Amsterdam/Brussels (kat Malaysia takde jalan langsung, ada cuti jer kena utilise untuk ACCA exams, nonetheless it was worth the sacrifice as we are here now). It was a 6 day trip and we really enjoyed the trip. Such a beautiful country!!  We managed to do day trip to Brussels as well. Our second overseas trip was Paris with Ngah & family. Although it was a day trip, we did manage to go to the major attractions. Then we when to Scotland with my in-laws & family. Its a 5 days road trip. The weather was so cold we had to cancel a few visits but overall we did enjoy the trip though. Our recent holiday trip was to Los Angeles for 2 weeks.. wohoo.. It was business cum holiday trip for Baba as he had to work there. It was such a memorable trip and we really2 had fun there sightseeing and SHOPPING!! 
We also did a few trips in UK. We visited Kak Long for the first time with my parents and second time during August bank holiday which we drove out together to Warwick Castle and Stratford Upon Avon. Went to Stonehenge and Bath twice. During our road trip to Scotland we did stop over at Liverpool and York as well.
Once in a while we organised some outing or gathering together with friends. Bosan juga kalau tak jumpa orang kan. We had lunch / dinner together or meet up for coffee. We even organised a small UNITEN reunion at Satay House (boleh than ramai juga ex-UNITEN kat sini).
After 5 months in London, we were greeted with good news that I'm pregnant with our 2nd child.  Can't wait to welcome him/her in June.
I hope that there will be more travel adventures for our family within the next 12 months (sadly kalo jalan pun dlm UK je la dulu kut for the 1st 6 months, kesian pulak baby nak naik kapal terbang). There are still other countries that we've yet to visit like Spain, Italy and Germany, of which I hope that we could visit before we head back to M'sia for good.
To all my readers and viewers, we would like to say THANK YOU for visiting our FP. It has been pleasurable experience snapping and editing the pictures, berjam2 upload gambo & kadang2 tue tak bleh nk upload sbb fp ni buat perangai (camera pakai skrang canon powershot jer, but nanti bulan 6 upgrade to a new one...nak tau nanti tgk yeah...) Without FP I don't think we would have bothered learning how to adjust a pictures' brightness, contrast and what not...syok jgk edit gamba pakai photoshop...
As much as we saw Qistinna growing up right in front of our eyes, by visiting our FP as well you guys get to see how she has evolved from a 2.9kg gift from Allah S.W.T to a 12kg, 2 feet tall, mulut tak berenti cakap German , asyik bertekak ngan mama sebab conteng dinding and buat sepah rumah. Despite all of this it is still a fun experience to go through watching your kid grow up right in front of our eyes.

Years has goneby and our marriage has come to 3 years now.. Lots of happy, sad and painful moments that both of us has gone through / shared together and Alhamdulillah our marriage is still as strong as our 1st day of marriage..
Some of the wonderful news/experience that had happen within these 3 years are:
# Knowing that I'm pregnant with our first child
# Giving birth to our first child, Qistinna Safiyyah
# Baba graduated his ACCA (Mama still tak habis lagi )
# Bought a house (sadly had to rent it out since we are here in London)
# Being told that Baba got the job in London, yeay...
# Three of us going to London
# Knowing that I'm pregnant with our 2nd child
# Baba getting an audit assignment in US & shopping spree in US (haha, nie pun termasuk skali)
Well, of course there's more of happy moments but those above are the major ones.. Hope that our marriage/family will be filled with lots of loves and be blessed by Allah s.w.t..
Love my hubby & little missy so much.  Can't wait to welcome our 4th family members in June or perhaps end of May maybe??..

Had company again last weekend. My cousin Kak Long & family came down from Birm and stayed at our place They brought dinner all d way from Birm and breakfast for Saturday as well.. They insist of me not to cooked for them (really I don't mind cooking actually, kalau bertiga kat umah pun still kena masak gak ).. Anyway, thank you so much for d delicious food.. Really appreciate it..
We had a blast weekend.. Its nice having them around especially Qistinna.. Dia la yg paling seronok sbb ada cousin nak main and boleh bermanja / mengada dengan orang lain.. She really enjoyed playing with Yana and Zafier.. but most of the time she played with Zafier.. maybe bcoz the age gap is not much different between the two of them (Zafier is gonna be 4 this year. Kak Long, correct me if i'm wrong) ..
When its time for them to go home.. Qistinna dah tarik muka.. It shows that she really had fun playing with her cousins.. Bila dah balik, termenung jer dia.. I asked where is Abang? She said.. "Abang, Laa" (maknanya, Abang takde)..

Me @ 25 weeks pregnant... n ...Ida's housewarming

Today we went Ida's house at Greenwich Millenium Village.. She & her family just moved recently to Greenwich. Previously, they were staying near our place (shepherd's bush gak)..
The housewarming supposed to start from 6pm onwards.. But since, mama tengah preggie + the journey from our place to greenwich will take about an hour.. So, they invite us to come early.. I guess Ida understands how uncomfortable for a pregnant woman to travel that far naik turun tube (since she is also 25 weeks pregnant (same as me) + she used to live in shepherd's bush).. Thank you Ida for understanding..
So, we went to her place around 1pm.. Had a delicious nasi lemak + lauk2 yg sungguh sedap Its nice to see Qistinna playing with Kakak & Ika.. Yela, jarang Qistinna dapat jumpa kawan. We stayed there until 4.30pm then made a move back to our place...

..Coram's Field..

Yesterday we went to Coram's Field. Saje bawa Qistinna ke sini laks..
There's one main rule at Coram's Fields.. "No adult, unless accompanied by a child"..
Selalunya "No child, unless accompanied by an adult"
Kat sini ada paddling pool, playground, sandpits, flying fox, pets corner.. Kesimpulannya mmg seronokla Qistinna dapat main kat sini.. Sampai tangan dah merah kebiruan jugala kesejukkan sbb tak nak pakai gloves.. Tak best kot main pakai gloves..
Bila dah dapat main pasir, lagila Qistinna tak nak balik.. Kena pujuk lama sket, baru nak balik.. Mama & Baba nya dah mengigil kesejukkan..
